As Armscor Programme Manager for the SA Submarine Project (with prime contractor, the German Submarine Consortium), we placed a related contract on local SA contractor, Sigma Logistic Solutions. Sigma was contracted to upgrade and further develop computer-based maintenance documentation for the new submarines (executed 2008 to 2011), with Jonathan Morse (Jonny) as Project Leader for this activity. During this time, I worked closely with Jonny, who demonstrated a number of noteworthy attributes which together with his professionalism, resulted in the successful conclusion of the project. With considerable prior experience in the compilation of complex Naval technical documentation produced to the requisite military standards, together with his skills in managing a team of specialists, Jonny on behalf of Sigma competently completed the scope of work in accordance with the Clients requirements and the contract.
